One of the things we want to do here  in PKMN-ph is promote Pokemon as more than a video game here in the Philippines. Believe it or not, there are actually more than a handful of people who actually wants to see a Pokemon photograph, cosplay, or painting. This weekend, Pokemon was represented in the annual Philippine Toy Convention.

The Toy Clicks Toy Photography contest featured a lot of cool photos of very expensive toys. The cheapest entry there should be my “Meowth’s 25 Centavo Pay Day”. You don’t need a gazillion amount of money to make Pokemon art. You just have to be resourceful.

Material’s used for “Meowth’s 25 Centavo Pay Day”:

- A 50 Peso Meowth Capsule (Gashapon) toy.
- A bottle of 25 Centavo coins
- A sense of humor, creativity, and good old Pokemon passion

We do hope we see more Pokemon in future conventions. Follow my lead kids! Make Pokemon dioramas, take Pokemon photographs, do Pokemon cosplay. It’s really fun and not that hard to do.
