Fact 1: GMA 7 introduced Pokémon to the local scene, airing “Pokémon, I Choose You!” around 1999.

Fact 2: The network finally airs “Hoenn Alone!” on this day, June 19.

So, doing the math, it took about 10 years before GMA 7 could air all the episodes of Pokémon: The Original Series!

But what this also translates to is that fans who tune in to the anime through GMA will now be able to watch the second series of Pokémon, which is the Advanced Generation saga.

Here’s the schedule if the network will air the next season by next week:

Monday, June 22 – “Get the Show on the Road!”
Tuesday, June 23 – “A Ruin with a View”
Wednesday, June 24 – “There’s no Place Like Hoenn”
Thursday, June 25 – “You can Never Taillow!”
Friday, June 26 – “In the Knicker of Time!”

Pokémon airs locally on weekdays at 8:40 AM on GMA 7.
