News has spread unexpectedly about Pokémon Black and White, such as the short trailer from Pokémon Sunday yesterday. But that’s not the only news for now. Several screenshots from Famitsu and the Pokémon Daisuki Club e-mail about Pokémon Black and White were released, the video version of the Pokémon Black and White preview on the Pokémon Movie 13 production DVD was uploaded, and Oha Suta shows the full version of the first ever trailer of Pokémon Black and White showing more new interesting information and new Pokémon. The first ever trailer of Pokémon Black and White.
New information:
* 8 New Pokémon were revealed on the trailer. Here are the names of 5 of the 8 new Pokémon:
1. Ononokusu (オノノクス), the mantis-like Pokémon
2. Doryuuzu (ドリュウズ), the big black mole
3. Desukaan (デスカーン), the sarcophagus-like Pokémon
4. Moguryuu (モグリュー), the baby little mole Pokémon as seen on the triple battle video
5. Denchura (デンチュラ ), the tarantula-like Pokémon which has some relation on electricity
3 of the 8 new Pokémon are still unnamed though. Moguryuu is the pre-evolution of Doryuuzu.
* Pokémon Black and White will now have Triple Battles.
* 2 new attacks were revealed. Tsutarja uses Grass Mixer (グラスミキサー) and Doryuuzu uses Drill Liner (ドリルライナー).
* Instead of “Fight”, “Run”, and “Pokémon”, there’s another option on the battle interface on the touch screen called “Shooter”. It replaces the “Bag” option. It is still unknown what it’s purpose though, but it’s likely that it will be used on Wi-Fi since you can’t use the “Bag” option on Wi-Fi battles.
* A new feature called the “White High-Link” allows you to change your player’s avatar using the internet.
* The name of the feature where you can upload your Pokémon Black or Pokemon White save file on the internet is called “Pokémon Global Link”.
* Apparently, Coro Coro stated on their website that they will have a coverage-like style of news and updates about Pokémon Black and White starting from the August 2010 issue (coming this July 15) until the November 2010 issue (coming this October 15). The August 2010 issue will contain “The Starting Document”; The September 2010 issue will contain “The Mastery Document”; the October 2010 issue will contain “The Black Document”; And the November 2010 issue will contain “The White Document” (Credits to Sabonea Masukippa of Serebii Forums for the translation).
Starting this day until the games’ release will be the critical months for Pokémon Black and White, so expect to see more and more updates as the day comes.
